Arrival in Cairo → Hotel Check-In
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in and settle into your 5★ Deluxe or 4★ hotel accommodations. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your travels.
Dinner included at your hotel.
Giza Pyramids → Great Sphinx → Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will meet you at the hotel for the first full day of touring. Drive to the Giza Plateau — home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, along with the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Enjoy a camel ride around the Pyramids and visit the breathtaking Great Sphinx — the massive limestone statue that has guarded the Giza necropolis for 4,500 years.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Tahrir Square — home to over 120,000 ancient artifacts including the golden treasures of Tutankhamun, royal mummies, and monumental statues of the pharaohs.
Return to your hotel for dinner.
Memphis → Saqqara Step Pyramid → Citadel → Old Cairo
After breakfast, drive south to the ancient capital of Memphis — founded in 3100 BC, once the most important city in the ancient world and home to a colossal statue of Ramesses II. Continue to Saqqara to visit the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser — the world’s oldest stone building and the prototype for all pyramids that followed.
Return to Cairo for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Citadel of Saladin — a medieval fortification built in 1176 AD and home to the stunning Alabaster (Muhammad Ali) Mosque. Then explore Old Cairo — the Coptic quarter containing ancient churches, synagogues, and mosques that have stood for nearly two millennia. Visit the beautiful Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church).
Return to your hotel for dinner.
Free Day → Optional Excursions
The fourth day is free for you to explore Cairo at your own pace, relax at your hotel, or enjoy optional excursions available at extra cost. Recommended options include a Nile Dinner Cruise, a visit to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar — Cairo’s famous medieval market — or a day trip to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast.
