Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

Home›Privacy Policy

We collect personal information only with your knowledge, when you request a quote, book or contact us.

We share it only with the travel suppliers needed to deliver your trip — never sold.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure.

1Who we are & scope

Israel Tourism Consultants (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a company of Vacations For Less, Inc.®, a California seller of travel (CST# 2002477-40). This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect from you (“you”) through our website, by telephone, by email, and through our related websites and booking services.

2Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, make a booking, register as a travel agent, sign up for emails or contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, mailing address, email address and phone numbers.
  • Traveler details needed for your trip: names of all travelers, dates of birth, passport information, rooming, dietary or accessibility requests.
  • Payment information, such as credit or debit card details, when you make a booking.
  • For travel agents: agency name and IATA, CLIA or host-agency number.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us in a message, form or phone call.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site. See Cookies & analytics.

Information about other travelers. If you give us information about someone else — for example, family members or group members on your booking — please make sure you have their permission to do so.

3How we use information

  • To prepare quotes, process and confirm bookings, and deliver the travel services you request.
  • To communicate with you about your trip, including confirmations, travel documents, changes and emergencies.
  • To answer your questions and requests.
  • To send newsletters and promotions, only if you sign up for them (see Emails & marketing).
  • To operate, maintain and improve our website and services.
  • To prevent fraud and meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We use non-identifying, aggregate information — for example, how many visitors viewed a page — to improve our website and marketing. This information cannot be used to identify you.

4When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services:

  • Travel suppliers: hotels, airlines, ground operators, guides, transportation companies and other suppliers that deliver your trip, including suppliers in Israel and other destination countries.
  • Travel insurers: if you choose to purchase travel insurance through us.
  • Service providers: companies that help us operate our business, such as payment processing, email, website hosting and analytics, under obligations to protect your information.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our travelers, our company or others.

Because our tours take place outside the United States, information needed for your trip is transferred to suppliers in the countries you visit, where privacy laws may differ from those in your home country.

5Cookies & analytics

Like most websites, we use cookies — small text files stored by your browser — to make our site work, remember your preferences, complete bookings and understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

We may also use analytics and advertising tools from third parties, such as Google, which use their own cookies to measure site traffic and the performance of our advertising. These providers may collect information about your visits to our site and other websites.

We never use cookies to store sensitive personal information such as credit card numbers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6Emails & marketing

We send promotional emails only to people who sign up to receive them. Information you submit for a quote or booking is not added to our marketing list unless you choose to register. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also contact us at any time to opt out. Even after you unsubscribe, we will still send messages about any trip you have booked.

When you email us, we use your return address to reply to you and do not share it with outside parties for their marketing.

7Data security

We use appropriate physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, loss and misuse, and to keep it accurate. Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it to serve you.

8Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide your travel services, for future bookings and customer service, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

9Your rights & choices

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • Correct inaccurate information, including traveler and passport details;
  • Delete your personal information, subject to information we must keep for legal reasons or to complete a booking; and
  • Stop sending you marketing emails.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights under your local laws.

To make a request, contact us. To protect your privacy, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making changes.

10Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Information about minors traveling on a booking is provided by their parent or guardian and used only to arrange their travel.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We will not use your personal information in ways unrelated to those described here without giving you notice and a chance to opt out.
